Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has announced that its 110,000 sq ft state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance facility at Birmingham Airport is now Boeing GoldCare approved after completing its supplier audit.
This latest achievement means that all Monarch Aircraft Engineering base maintenance facilities in the UK (Birmingham, Manchester and Luton) are Boeing GoldCare approved along with its line maintenance facility at Gatwick.
Commenting on the Boeing audit results, Ian Bartholomew, Interim Managing Director of Monarch Aircraft Engineering, said:
“We are delighted to successfully gain this approval which completes a Boeing GoldCare offering at all our UK base maintenance facilities. In addition this ensures that a GoldCare offering is available at three of the UK’s main airports reinforcing our commitment to new technology aircraft.”
In partnership with Boeing, Monarch Aircraft Engineering will provide base maintenance services to support Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft as part of the Boeing GoldCare programme.
