The first A380 for Skymark Airlines has successfully completed its maiden test flight. The new super jumbo took to the air after the completion of the airframe assembly and full system tests in Toulouse, France.
After its first check flight the Skymark A380 will be flown to Hamburg, Germany to enter the next phase of production, covering cabin installation and painting,
Skymark Airlines will become the first A380 operator in Japan when it takes delivery of its first aircraft later this year.
The airline has six A380 aircraft on order. These new super jumbos will be used on the airline’s international trunk routes, in particular linking Narita to destinations in the US. With the unique features of the gigantic Airbus the airline will be able to offer its passengers the unique experience of space and comfort when flying the A380.
