Under new code sharing arrangements with British Airways, Iberia customers can now book flights to Entebbe, Uganda from Madrid or Barcelona via London.
Meanwhile, British Airways passengers can travel under BA codes on Iberia flights to Bogotá, Colombia.
Since the merger of the two airlines, Iberia has added its code to BA flights to/from Dar Es Salaam, Accra, Lusaka and Cape Town in Africa; Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Doha, Bahrain, Muscat, Jeddah and Riyadh in the Middle East; Bangalore, Mumbai and New Delhi in India; and Sydney, Australia.
British Airways’ passengers can now book to more destinations in Latin America thanks to similar arrangements with Iberia. These include San José de Costa Rica, Panama City, Guatemala City, San Salvador, Santiago de Chile, Caracas, Montevideo, as well as Santo Domingo.
Customers of both airlines can now enjoy a wider range of flying times and connections, and can book their travel through either airline’s website or call centre. They can also use more than 120 VIP lounges at airports around the world.
